Tom Davies

Tom Davies is Head of Service and Operations at Teamwork Trust, having joined in November 2023. Tom previously worked at Spectrum Northants where he was head of its education service. Before this he was Course Lead at  Northampton College’s Supported Learning Department. As well as having a background in education, Tom has also worked as a carer and speech &and Language therapy assistant, and brings with him over 15 years’ experience working with people with additional needs.

 

 

  • Why I joined Teamwork Trust: It's a brilliant organisation that helps a lot of people and I wanted to be part of that. I’m enthused to work with such a wide team and to help Teamwork Trust develop into the best service it can be.

       

  • About my job: My role includes overseeing the care, education, quality and transitions parts of Teamwork Trust. It’s quite a lot but it’s already clear that many of the staff are very good at these things already.

 

  • The best things about my job: The variety within it and the amount of warm, kind and enthusiastic people I get to work with – service users, staff, trustees and volunteers.

 

  • A bit about me: I’m a teacher and I live in Northampton. I like going to the rugby, live music, cooking and going to the gym.

 

  • When I’m not working I love to ... Go on long walks with my dog in the countryside and listen to music, podcasts and audiobooks.
