WHO ARE WE?


In this policy ‘We’, ‘Us’ or ‘Our’ refers to Teamwork Trust.
Teamwork Trust is a Northamptonshire-based charity and social enterprise committed to giving adults with learning difficulties, physical and sensory disabilities access to the same chances, choices and opportunities as others.

An award-winning organisation, we have centres in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough, where adults with mental health needs, learning and physical disabilities can make new friends, access education and employment experiences and regain self-esteem and confidence in a friendly, supportive environment.

We also provide a wellbeing and counselling programme for members of the public and the wider community, a thriving commercial business outsourcing facility, and various specific and bespoke programmes for its members.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT, AND HOW IS IT USED?


We may hold data for you if you are a member, volunteer, fundraise for us, receive counselling, attend a course, sign up to our events, make a donation.


We usually collect:
Your Name
Your contact details For both contact & for information such as Gift Aid
Your Date of Birth
Your bank or credit card details processed are through Stripe https://stripe.com/gb/privacy
Your motivation for supporting us

Your data may also be available to our website provider to enable us and them to deliver their service to us, carry out analysis and research on demographics, interests and behaviour of our users and supporters to help us gain a better understanding of them to enable us to improve our services. This may include connecting data we receive from you on the website to data available from other sources. Your personally identifiable data will only be used where it is necessary for the analysis required, and where your interests for privacy are not deemed to outweigh their legitimate interests in developing new services for us. In the case of this activity the following will apply:

The data that may be available to them include any of the data we collect as described in section 3 above.
Our website provider will not transfer your data to any other third party, or transfer your data outside of the EEA.
They will store your data for a maximum of [7] years.

Additionally we may ask for information relating to your health if it is relevant to the activity you are doing, for example participating in high risk events. Our website also uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help us analyse how the site is used. These cookies collect your IP address, information about the device you’re using, and how you’re using the website.
In exceptional circumstances, the need to safeguard our clients or others from serious harm may require us to override our commitment to making our client's wishes and confidentiality our primary concern.  We may need to act in ways that will support any investigations or actions necessary to prevent serious harm to our clients or others.

Job Applicants

We ask for personal information from job applicants to assist with our recruitment process, it will only be used for this purpose. This information will only be accessed by employees involved with the recruitment process. We will not disclose this information to anyone else outside Teamwork Trust. If your application is successful this information will be stored in your personnel record. If you are unsuccessful, we will erase the personal data submitted within a suitable time frame after the appointment has been made.

Sharing your story
Some of the people who have benefitted from the work of Teamwork Trust choose to share their experiences to help further our work. We will only share this information if we have obtained the explicit and informed consent of the individual involved, or their parent or guardian if necessary. This information may be made public by us at events, in materials promoting our campaigning and fundraising work, or in documents such as our annual report.


SHARING OF DATA


We do not share or sell your details with charities or other third parties for the purposes of marketing. However, if you are participating in an event ran by another named organisation your details may need to be shared; in these instances we will inform you before your information is shared.
We only disclose data to the suppliers we engage to process data on our behalf; in such cases information is only shared for the purpose of providing services on our behalf relating to communications, or agreements between yourself and Teamwork Trust. We are responsible for your data at all times.
We will only disclose data when obliged to disclose personal data by law, or the disclosure is ‘necessary’ for purposes of national security, taxation and criminal investigation.


HOW CAN I CHANGE MY CONTACT PREFERENCES?


All our direct mailing marketing has clear marketing preference questions, and all our correspondence includes information on how to update your preferences. If you do not want to hear from us please CONTACT US
