Working Progress Project Offers Holistic Support into Work

8 Northamptonshire based organisations are working together to provide holistic support to people across the county. Commsortia has partnered with the University of Northampton to deliver this £2.2 million Building Better Opportunities (BBO) project, helping people back onto the path into employment. Working Progress offers rounded support to participants, which could vary from confidence building and mentoring, to CV writing and money advice; all of which focuses on the needs of the individual.

 

PROJECT DETAILS:

Who are our beneficiaries? Anyone who is 19+ & out of work can take part, but we focus on those with additional barriers to work who often fall into these categories: Disabilities, Over 50's, BAME Groups, (Ex-)Offenders, and Carers.

 

Who is funding the project?  "The project is part of the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) programme and is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund."
